Yesterday was a dynamic day for our team, combining professional learning with a colleague’s farewell. The schedule featured a valuable factory visit to Hebei Hengtian Great Day Automobile Co., Ltd., followed by a trip to Beijing to see our Russian employee off.

In the morning, our team traveled to Hebei to visit the automotive company. We aimed to deepen our understanding of their specialized manufacturing through direct observation. Welcomed warmly, we received full access to the production facilities. This factory visit was highly educational, allowing us to trace the complete cabin assembly process from the initial frame stage to final inspection. We saw precise sheet metal work, advanced welding, and the careful installation of interiors and wiring. This close look offered crucial insights into their quality control, operational efficiency, and the modern technology used throughout production.

Additionally, the tour specifically demonstrated how different cabin designs are applied to various vehicle chassis. We observed how specific designs meet unique industrial requirements, including freight, cold-chain logistics, and mobile workshops. The on-site engineers provided excellent support, giving detailed demonstrations on how cabin structures are optimized for strength, capacity, and comfort. This direct exposure to their product range was extremely beneficial for our current and future collaborative work.

After the thorough and informative auto plant tour, our team departed for Beijing. This second mission was to escort our Russian team member to the airport for his flight home. It was a moment of mixed feelings, sad to see him go but appreciative of his work and wishing him a safe trip. The journey to Beijing also offered a good chance for the team to unwind and discuss the day’s key takeaways from the manufacturing site.

Overall, the day effectively merged a substantial professional development activity with an important team event. The experience at the Hebei auto manufacturer greatly enhanced our knowledge of vehicle production, while the farewell underscored the strong connections within our global team.
