Hunan Province High-Quality Silicon Steel Manufacturing Innovation Center
The Hunan High-Quality Silicon Steel Manufacturing Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Innovation Center) is led by Liangang and directed by the Iron and Steel Research Institute (Technology Center), and was jointly established by the National Key Laboratory of Digital Steel (formerly the National Key Laboratory of Rolling Technology and Continuous Rolling Automation of Northeastern University), Loudi Metal Materials and Deep Processing Industry Research Association, TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd., Loudi Economic Development Zone and other units, and has received support from many universities such as Northeastern University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Hunan University, Central South University, and Wuhan University of Science and Technology.
The Innovation Center, relying on scientific and technological innovation platforms such as the Liangang National Enterprise Technology Center and the Silicon Steel Testing and Research Center, adheres to an “independent operation, common development” operating model, driving its development and construction with scientific and technological innovation, and cultivating new-quality productivity. The core team members are composed of experts with more than 10 years of experience in silicon steel R&D or production, including 7 PhDs and 5 Masters. Eleven of them hold senior professional titles, including 1 recipient of a special allowance from the State Council and 2 recipients of the Hunan Province “Outstanding Engineer” award. A team of 24 external academicians and expert technical support personnel provide strong talent and technical support for the steady development of the Innovation Center.
